Many Brits without a Will, study shows
New research has revealed many people in the UK do not have Wills.

Conducted by MyVoucherCodes, the study found 48 per cent of those aged between 25 and 50 are without the legal document.

While 31 per cent believed they were still too young to draw up a Will, 17 per cent claimed they had simply not got round to doing so yet.

A total of 24 per cent stated it was 'too morbid' to think about and 22 per cent said they were in good health and therefore did not need one.

The remaining nine per cent claimed not to know how to go about getting the document.

Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes, said: "Having to think about your Will isn't a nice thing to have to do, but it is extremely important."

He was also surprised that many of those without such an item were parents.

According to research carried out by Standard Life, solicitors are the most popular form of advice for those wishing to draw up a Will, although internet services are increasingly being used.

Kester Cunningham John has a strong team of lawyers who are able to help with all aspects of making a Will and, if necessary, tax planning. We also have an online service where Wills are prepared using interactive software and then checked by a lawyer before being agreed.ADNFCR-2347-ID-800634175-ADNFCR
