Family involved in dispute over Will made by Enid Blyton's daughter
A Will made by the daughter of Enid Blyton is at the centre of a dispute involving her family members.

The Mail on Sunday states that Gillian Baverstock created a document splitting her £800,000 estate between family members, including grandchildren, prior to her death in 2007.

However, none of the six beneficiaries have yet received a penny because of a High Court battle involving the trustees.

Ms Baverstock wanted money and property to be put into trusts for the grandchildren to access when they reached 25, but family members have claimed that the trustees have been selling items such as paintings and homes for a fraction of what they are worth.

The beneficiaries want the trustees to be replaced by representatives they have chosen.

Neither party commented on the legal action.

Earlier in 2010, Lord Justice Mummery recommended that people put proper Wills in place before they die in order to avoid such "untidy" situations arising between family members.ADNFCR-2347-ID-800316776-ADNFCR
