Ann Widdecombe: Everyone should make Wills as early as possible
British people have been urged to make Wills as early as they can in life by former politician Ann Widdecombe.

The retired Conservative MP for Maidstone and the Weald told the Financial Times she has been taking wealth management seriously since she was much younger and has had a pension in place for many years, something which she then became even more vocal about in her role as pensions minister.

"I have had a Will since I was in my 20s when I did not have any wealth, because I think everybody should make a Will at the earliest age," she added.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant suggested she may leave some money to charity, as she is patron of the Cats Protection League among others.

Last month, a survey carried out by Unbiased.co.uk showed that 4.5 million Britons are to bequeath money to specific charities when they die.

However, 30 million people were found not to have Wills in place.

KCJ offers a range of Will services to suit all circumstances. The team of 15 wealth management lawyers handles complex tax and trust planning for those who need it but also handles more straightforward circumstances on a face-to-face basis, as well as having an online Wills option for those who prefer it.
