Family in High Court over Wills dispute
A family is currently appearing at the High Court because of a Wills dispute involving the inheritance of a farmer's estate.

George Kay was the owner of a large farm when he died in August 2008 at the age of 89.

The Will he had drawn up in 2001 named his sons John and Richard as the beneficiaries of the estate, while his daughters Jane Key and Mary Boykin were to receive £7,500 each.

However, another Will signed by the elderly man in 2006 decreed that the two women would receive £300,000 each

His sons maintain that this went against their father's wishes and claim that their sisters plied their father with alcohol and sleeping pills in a bid to coerce him into changing the document in their favour.

"I knew my father, he wouldn't have wanted that," commented Richard.

The two daughters maintain that there is no evidence to support the claims and the case continues.

In January this year, a family successfully overturned a will after finding that their relative had left her estate to her carer.

It was found that Catherine Devas had been unduly influenced by the employee and had altered her will to the detriment of her family
