Tim Gleave, a member of the Kester Cunningham John personal injury team, has obtained compensation for Mr R after he sustained a serious injury to his leg.

The injury occurred when the car in which he was a passenger went through a wall. The case is of interest because the car was his, and the driver was his daughter who was insured as a named driver on his policy. The insurance company initially indicated that he could not claim under his own policy, but when this was pursued they admitted liability.

Tim says: "There is a lesson here for people not to allow themselves to be fobbed off by insurance companies. In instances like this it is definitely worth seeking legal advice."
