KCJ solicitor one of first in country to obtain new qualification
Justina Molloy, a personal injury lawyer at Kester Cunningham John, has become one of the first 25 solicitors in the country, and one of only 2 in East Anglia so far, to undertake and pass a new qualification, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) "Certificate in Personal Injury Law".

The course is designed to provide recently qualified solicitors, or those retraining from another area of the law into personal injury, with a very detailed knowledge of this specialist area through intensive further study. The level of knowledge gained during the 12 months of training is in line with the expertise that would otherwise be gained practising this area of law over a 4 or 5 year period. It also provides an accelerated route to APIL's senior litigator status.

Ruth Booy, head of the KCJ personal injury team, explains: "We are repeatedly recognised by independent reviewers as leaders in East Anglia in the field of personal injury law. Embracing this type of accelerated training programme for our recently qualified solicitors is an obvious way to help ensure that we continue to be ideally placed to help those who have suffered injury as the result of an accident which was not their fault."

KCJ specialises in complex claims for catastrophic brain or spine injuries, fatalities and amputation but also handles straightforward claims for minor injuries.
