Family fights for compensation after asbestos-related death
A claim for compensation has been launched following the death of a woman from mesothelioma, with her family stating it was due to working with asbestos earlier in her life.

Lutterworth pensioner Dorothy Kerslake was 86 when she passed away just a few months after being diagnosed with the condition, reports the Rugby Observer.

Tina Robbins, her daughter, explained her mother had begun the compensation claim and the family wanted to continue with it after her death.

It is claimed that Ms Kerslake came into contact with the hazardous material during her time working at the Raleigh factory at the Vedonis Works, Lutterworth, between 1940 and 1945.

"I don't know how Raleigh can deny something when the evidence is there. Mum would be with us today it it wasn't for that illness. We just can't believe it has happened," said Ms Robbins.

Earlier this month, it was reported by the Goole Courier that Bruce Cooper is taking action against Hanson Support Services and claiming £100,000 after he contracted pleural thickening and folded lung.

If you have been exposed to asbestos and have developed any problems as a result, Simon Davis, who heads the KCJ personal injury team, will be happy to advise on whether you have a claim.ADNFCR-2347-ID-800716664-ADNFCR
