Still birth death rates are falling |
A report issued recently by the Centre for Maternal and Child Enquiries (CMACE) and featured in this week's Nursing Times (link below), reveals that stillbirth rates are falling across the UK.
Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp, who heads the Medical Injury team at Kester Cunningham John, says: "Any fall in the number of stillbirths is welcome news and long may the trend continue. The Medical Law team at KCJ handle many of these tragic cases and we are campaigning to make sure that when they do occur, cases are handled more compassionately and swiftly than they are at present."
Kester Cunningham John is hosting a Conference in London on 18 November 2010 with the theme 'Claims Involving Children - How Could We Do It Better?'. Anyone who is interested in attending should contact Events Co-Ordinator Toby Whittacker-Cook for further details on 01603 703094.
