US $925,000 for road traffic collision injury

KCJ personal injury specialist Ruth Booy has obtained US $925,000 for Miss E. Miss E was involved in a road traffic collision in California. As a result she suffered major multiple pelvic fractures which have left her at the age of 28 with reduced mobility, permanent pain, the risk of complications in childbirth and the need for two hip replacements during her life time. The case involved the consideration of jurisdictional issues which confirmed that Miss E had the right to bring her claim in either the UK or the US. A preliminary valuation of Miss E's claim determined that she would be best placed to bring proceedings in the State of California. Ruth worked closely with a Californian Attorney to achieve this result for Miss E.
