Kester Cunningham John sponsored Sam Bishop was the toast of the local riders at Snetterton at the weekend.

The 22-year-old was competing in the Focused Events KTM RC8 Supercup and Under-25 Cup - a full BSB support race - and took first place in race one and fourth in race two.

Those results put him sixth on 91 points in the KTM RC8 Super Cup leaderboard, 47 points behind leader Kelvin Reilly, but he remains run-away leader in the Under-25 Cup on 178 points.
