Partners and staff at East Anglia's fastest growing firm of solicitors, Kester Cunningham John have been put in charge of the development and creation of the new company web site.
A number of employees from all levels of the company and representing each of its four offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Norwich and Thetford, formed a working group to contribute and oversee the production of the new site.
Simon Smith, Managing Partner, commented: "At Kester Cunningham John, we have always believed in the importance of working as a team. It's all about what you do, how you do it and what you think and not about your job title. So, when we decided to update our web site, we deliberately excluded the managing and senior partners from the decision making process and formed a working group comprising the people that know our business best; our staff."
The result is a web site that is quite unique in the law industry, as not only is it easy to use and understand, but it also enables visitors to view the personalities that make up the business via movie clips and photographs.
Ross Strowger, partner and a member of the working group said: "When we were first asked to be part of this initiative and met for our first session, we were all agreed that we wanted the new web site to promote our approach as client focussed, accessible and able to provide good advice in an easy to understand way".
"We are all really pleased with the result, as the new web site has photos of the staff, so if a client is speaking to us; they are now able to put a face to the voice. It also presents us as real people, experienced in dealing with the real-life issues that are important to our clients".
Toby Hope, Web Developer for 2CS, who was commissioned to build the site said: "As an agency we work with many different types and sizes of organisation. In the case of Kester Cunningham John, it was great to be involved in a project where the client was prepared to examine their communication processes in such a detailed and impartial way from the ground up |
