The ISO 9001 standard represents an international consensus on good management practices and demonstrates that an organisation is achieving a consistent approach with its products or services, employs good working practices, assures customer satisfaction and is internationally recognised as a well managed business.
As part of this certification process, Moody International Group, a leading global supplier of management system certification, performed an on-site certification audit at KCJ to determine and verify standards of compliance. In order to ensure that the high level of standard set by the ISO is constantly being practiced after certification, KCJ will be subject to surveillance audits of both documentation and processes under the ISO 9001 guidelines.
"Achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification is a milestone for this firm," says Tom Cook, a Partner at KCJ. "As one of the leading law firms in East Anglia; just saying we have a quality system in place is not enough. ISO accreditation verifies that KCJ employs good working practices and assures our clients they will receive a first-rate service that impresses them the first time, and every time".
