Ashton KCJ is raising money for three local charities through our Wills Week which starts next week.
Date: 3 February 2012
The ‘Good Will Campaign’, running all week from 6th February will raise funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Ipswich-based Iceni and Nelson's Journey, based in Norwich.
Alison Budge, Partner at Ashton KCJ and Chair of the firm’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) committee said: “The life-saving work of the Air Ambulance is well publicised across the region. Iceni’s work to combat addiction and keep families together is really valued by the people of Ipswich and Suffolk, and Nelson’s Journey is an incredible charity supporting bereaved children in Norfolk. We hope to raise as much as we possibly can during our Wills Week for these three very worthwhile causes.”
For each Will we prepare during the week, we will donate £100 to the client’s chosen charity – or all three can benefit equally, depending on the client’s wishes. After claiming Gift Aid, this will represent a donation of £125 to the charity.

Nichola Whymark, Fundraising Manager for the East Anglian Air Ambulance commented: “The East Anglian Air Ambulance is overwhelmed by the generosity of Ashton KCJ choosing us as one of their chosen charities for their 2012 Wills Week. We're hoping lots of people from across the region will sign up during this fundraising week and choose to support our charity.”
In 2010, Ashton KCJ raised over £2,000 during Wills Week for our nominated charities, which are voted on by our staff each year. |
