KCJ has won the 'Website of the Year' award at the prestigious national LawNet Awards. The website category was the most hotly contested at the Awards, with eight firms shortlisted.
The KCJ site was praised by the judging panel, which included industry expert Susan Hallam, for content, being easy to navigate, for greatly improved Google rankings and traffic, and for the 'KCJ Online' offering of Wills and other documents.
This is the third year running that KCJ has won an accolade at the LawNet Awards. Last year the firm scooped the award for 'Commitment to Client Care', while in 2008 it was awarded the 'Best Business Development Initiative' Award for the launch of the joint venture Kester Cunningham John Financial Planning LLP.
KCJ Business Development Director Stephen Goddard comments: "Like many businesses we face the challenge of needing to make our website relevant and accessible to a diverse client base both regionally and, for some of our services, nationally. Many clients value the fact that they are now able to check the progress of their house purchase online, or draft their Will and have it checked remotely by a lawyer. Injury clients can begin their claim online and an onlline divorce package is also available. The KCJ news service and online event booking functions are well received by our commercial clients. Other online services are in the pipeline and due to be launched in 2011.
We are fortunate to have found in Net Matters a pro-active East Anglian website consultancy ideally placed to meet our development needs and are looking forward to working with them to enhance the site further in the coming months."
