Unfortunately Durham University had to cry off at short notice leaving the Cambridge University Rugby Team frustrated after a great week on the training paddock and eager to play a game. The work done this past week should pay off against Warwick University who are the visitors to Trinity Old Fields this Wednesday (21/10/09). The men from Coventry were the big improvers in the midlands division last season and will give a stern test to the blues.
With a number of injuries and non availabilities it gives the rookies a real chance to get 80 minutes under their belt and which will prove invaluable in this phase of the club's season. The game kicks off at 2pm at Trinity Old Fields on Wednesday 21st October. Referee is Steve Davis (RFL).
Cambridge University Amateur Rugby League Football Club is sponsored by Kester Cunningham John Solicitors.
