This popular event which has established itself as a firm favourite in the Cambridge networking calendar, was attended by regulars Lord Digby Jones and well known historian Andrew Roberts, along with over 100 members of the Cambridge business community.
Veteran Newsman Peter Snow was also among the guests. His most recent work includes last year's "What Britain Earns", all about salaries, and which he presented with his son Dan. A few years ago the pair also worked together on "Battlefield Britain".
As in previous years, Lord Jones was presented with a gift; this time a Second World War RAF flying officer's uniform, which was presented by KCJ Chief Executive, Simon Smith.
Andrew Roberts, gave an interesting account from his new book, The Storm of War: a new history of the Second World War, describing the great battle where never before in the history of human conflict had so much been owed by so many to so few.
