Daughters of Tony Curtis 'to challenge his Will' |
Two of the daughters of Hollywood actor Tony Curtis are to challenge his Will after he failed to leave any of his fortune to them, it has been claimed.
Alison Boshoff of the Daily Mail said it has emerged that he has not left his children or grandchildren a penny of his $60 million (£37 million) estate, even though he always said there would be money for them after he was gone.
Instead, it has all gone in a trust to his sixth wife Jill Vandenberg.
His eldest daughters Kelly and Alexandra are now said to be taking legal action together to challenge the Will, which was written five months before his death in October 2010.
Although the document signed by Curtis states that he had "intentionally and with full knowledge chosen not to provide for them in this last will and testament", the two women insist that several previous Wills were written in their favour.
It is alleged by his family that he was on strong painkillers towards the end of his life, which may have affected his decision.
Curtis appeared in over 100 films and received the Sony Ericsson Empire Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
