Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson demonstrate an amicable divorce
People considering getting a divorce may be heartened by recent sightings of Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, who seem to be demonstrating how to go through the process amicably.

The actors were recently spotted at Los Angeles restaurant Chateau Marmont by Us Weekly magazine and the publication said they got drinks and talked on the patio for a long time about their split, which was announced on December 23rd 2010.

A source close to the couple denied that they may be planning to get back together.

"There are no plans to reconcile, but they're still friends. They have divorce details to work out and they'd rather do it face-to-face," the insider added.

It is thought that the two-year marriage failed due to the actors spending too much time apart.

Despite the apparent ease of the Reynolds-Johansson divorce, Christina Tait of advisory website DivorceAid.co.uk states it is vital to get independent, expert advice, preferably from a family law solicitor.

"Divorce is easy but it's finances that take the work," she commented, adding that a lawyer will be able to offer impartial counsel should things get difficult.ADNFCR-2347-ID-800384182-ADNFCR
