Liz Hurley 'could lose a chunk of her fortune' in divorce |
Liz Hurley could risk losing a large portion of her estimated £13 million fortune because she and estranged husband Arun Nayar did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before they get married in 2007.
The couple announced their separation this week after Hurley 45, was photographed with former cricketer Shane Warne, saying it was for "private reasons".
However, sources have said Nayar may be able to claim part of his wife's money when they divorce because he is reliant on a future inheritance and so is technically worth less than she is financially.
Hurley has invested much of her money into property and owns homes in Gloucestershire and Chelsea.
She has one son, eight-year-old Damian, but Nayar is not his father.
Earlier this month, a source told US magazine that Jessica Simpson will sign a pre-nup with her second husband after failing to do so the first time around and losing millions of dollars.
