Tiger Woods' divorce to go through |
Tiger Woods' divorce from Elin Nordegren is set to go through, according to reports, with the model due to receive a payout of hundreds of millions of dollars.
The US golfer, who is thought by many to be the greatest player the sport has ever seen, may have cheated on his wife with as many as 100 women, it has been claimed.
A source told Radar Online: "They've agreed on all the major points. It's all been worked out privately. Both Tiger and Elin are very close to finishing the negotiations and filing and signing the paperwork."
After the National Enquirer originally published rumours of Woods' infidelity, various women came forward to say they had slept with the star, prompting Nordegren to file for divorce.
One of the latest of these is an adult film actress who claims she has a baby with Woods, who has been accused of having at least one other love child.
Woods recently returned to golf after taking time out from the game.
Neale Grearson, a partner in the family law team at Kester Cunningham John, comments: "Mr and Mrs Woods will clearly now want to resolve the situation and financial arrangements as quickly as possible and to keep control of the process.
"This is how most couples feel when going through a relationship or marriage breakdown whether or not they are as famous or as rich as Tiger. Collaborative Law is now an attractive option for many in this position who want to avoid the lawyers and the court process taking over."
