Victims of workplace bullying 'should not suffer in silence' |
Anyone who feels they are being bullied at work should take action to have the problem resolved.
This is the advice of Emma Mamo - policy and campaigns manager for the charity Mind - who said too many people are suffering in silence, despite feeling victimised and fearful day in, day out.
She pointed out that not only can bullying at work have repercussions for mental health, it can also undermine performance because people are too distracted to do their jobs.
