Ashton KCJ are delighted to announce in conjunction with Red Rose Chain their Headline Sponsorship of Theatre In The Forest 2011.

The award-winning company will be staging Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, to celebrate the twelfth anniversary of the region’s largest annual outdoor theatre event. The production will perform for 25 nights between 27th July and 28th August in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk.

Artistic Director Joanna Carrick said, “Theatre In The Forest is firmly established as the region’s must-see event of the summer. The magical atmosphere of the forest setting makes this the perfect place to perform Shakespeare. Red Rose Chain is proud to announce Ashton KCJ as the headline sponsor for Theatre In The Forest for the second year running, following the success of last year’s partnership.

The partnership also supports our Community Theatre Company which has recently been awarded over £300,000 by the Big Lottery Fund to help use drama and film-making to support people recovering from drug addiction to turn their lives around”.

Theatre In The Forest broke all box office records in 2010 with over ten thousand people experiencing the magical production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
