Abi Adams has joined the firm after successfully completing her training contract and qualifying as a Solicitor. Abi joins the firm’s Employment department working with the acclaimed Matthew Potter and Julian Outen. Commenting on her appointment Matthew Potter, Partner and Head of department said: “Abi studied a three-year LLB law degree at Sheffield University before completing her Legal Practice Course at BPP in London. She achieved a Distinction after she specialised in Acquisitions, Commercial Litigation and Employment. We are delighted that on qualifying she has accepted our offer to join the employment department – she will be a valued member of the team and we all look forward to working with her.”
Abi joined Ashton KCJ in 2008 as a trainee, and spent time in the Corporate and Commercial Property departments; she qualified as a Solicitor on 1 October 2010. She will be advising on all aspects of Employment Law, both contentious and non-contentious. Abi was Chairperson of the Suffolk and North Essex Junior Lawyers’ Division in 2008, which involved co-ordinating young trainee solicitors from around the region and organising social and charitable fundraising events throughout the year.
