Ashton KCJ Solicitors have been recognised for marketing excellence at the 2010 Anglian Business Awards – for its campaign to launch its French Legal Services department. The awards, held on the 8th July in Ipswich, were organised by Archant publishers of the regional newspaper the East Anglian Daily Times and hosted by author, TV presenter and former MP, Gyles Brandreth.
Ashton KCJ, who were also highly commended in the Business of the Year category, launched its French legal service in May 2009 – offering advice and assistance to English speaking clients on the implications of buying and selling property in France, and French inheritance law and tax. Commenting on its award success, Ashton KCJ Partner, Alan Brown said: "This award reflects the great effort by our marketing and French legal service teams to create a well thought out and focussed marketing campaign. It not only raised our profile in providing French legal services and ensured a successful launch of the service, but was and continues to be a successful way of bringing new clients to the firm, who have recognised the quality and value of the service on offer."
Ashton KCJ’s French Legal Service marketing campaign, ensured that despite being launched on the 1st May 2009 when the UK faced a difficult economic climate a steady stream of new and existing clients were introduced to the new service.
Matthew Cameron who heads the French legal service department is a well-known commentator on Anglo-French legal affairs and is recognised internationally as an expert in his field. Alan Brown went on to add "Matthew, Vincent Morand and the rest of the team really have added something special to the Ashton KCJ, and we look forward to further developing the service."
