Ashton Graham maintains its top ranking in Legal 500
01 September 2009

Providing a comprehensive range of legal services to clients throughout East Anglia, the firm has offices in Ipswich, Felixstowe and Bury St Edmunds.

Identified as being 'leading individuals' within the law profession regionally are Robert Gair, Head of Personal Injury, who has achieved the listing for the third year running, and Sara Stabler who works as an advocate within the dispute resolution department and has been commended for 'providing a thorough service and a personal touch'.

"The Legal 500 confirms that the team at Ashton Graham is working hard to maintain its high levels of customer service. We are also continuing to strengthen our expertise in all disciplines and further develop our range of legal services that include our French legal services department launched this year."

Mark Merriam, Managing Partner

The business employs over 150 staff and has 19 partners, many of whom have been praised within the report for their experience and ability. These include, David Barnes who has 'over 30 years experience in the local corporate market' and 'the highly rated' Geoff Hazlewood. 'Conscientious' Alan Brown and his colleague Alison Budge who work within the private client department have been mentioned, as well as Andrew Roe and James Griffith from the real estate department whose 'growing reputation has helped Ashton Graham to hold firm in a challenging market'.

"As mentioned in the Legal 500 regional overview, the last 12 months has seen changes to the management board at Ashton Graham and we now have both a new executive committee and strategic committee that are well positioned to implement our future business plan. However we are committed to making sure that our top priority is, as always, to our existing clients and they can rely on us to give them the best possible advice and service."

Mark Merriam, Managing Partner
