Even though there is no longer a requirement under Company law for most companies to have a secretary, there are still a number of administrative tasks which need to be carried out on behalf of the company.

In order to unburden you of these tasks, Ashton KCJ offers a comprehensive service to assist you with these administrative duties, including the provision of a registered office address, dealing with the annual return, execution of the allotment and transfer of shares and the filing of various statutory documents.

If you are just starting your business or looking to convert your business from a sole trader/partnership, our team can also assist with the formation and initial re-organisation of companies.

Our company secretarial and formation services are equally applicable to limited liability partnerships (LLPs).

Registered office service

  • Provision of registered office address (including forwarding post)

£200 plus VAT per year


Company administration service

  • Provision of registered office address (including forwarding post)
  • Maintenance of company books
  • Preparation of the annual return
  • Preparation of dormant company accounts (if applicable)
  • Preparation of board minutes dealing with company administration issues
  • Execution of share allotments and transfers
  • Filing of statutory forms at Companies House

£750 plus VAT per year

As our company secretarial services are purely administrative services they do not include the provision of any legal advice. We would of course be delighted to help in this regard and will agree any supplemental fees with you prior to our providing such advice.

The above fees are exclusive of any applicable Companies House filing fees.

In the event that stamp duty is payable on the transfer of any shares, it is the responsibility of the recipient of the shares to arrange and pay for the stamping of any stock transfers form at HM Revenue & Customs.

We will not, as part of our company secretarial services provide, a company secretary to your company but should you require this service we are happy to discuss the terms of any appointment.

All fees will be invoiced and are payable at the start of the year to which they apply.
