Ashton KCJ is a leading firm in East Anglia with offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Felixstowe, Ipswich, Norwich and Thetford spanning the A11 and A14 corridors. Who should apply
We welcome applications from all law and non-law graduates or from other eligible qualification routes. We are looking to recruit candidates with good interpersonal skills, a natural flair in dealing with people, commercial awareness, and with the ability, desire and drive to help grow our business. We value diverse interests and additional skills such as languages, commercial experience, sporting or community achievements.

Applications will be accepted from the 1st January 2011 for the September 2013 entry. Please apply by 31st July 2011. Applications received after this date will not be processed.

Training programme
We aim to provide excellent quality of training, giving trainees the opportunity to obtain a breadth of experience before specialisation. Most of our training programmes include a property seat (residential, commercial or agricultural), a private client seat (will drafting, probate, trusts and tax), a commercial seat (company commercial/commercial property or employment) and a litigation seat (civil/commercial, personal injury or family). Trainees will work closely with partners and solicitors in a supportive environment, and will have regular reviews and feedback.
Bursary
We now offer a bursary scheme for assistance with the GDL and LPC. Full details will be available to successful applicants.
