Colin Knight

Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and is now an FCA. He has gained wide commercial experience in various types of businesses during his career.

He joined Ashton KCJ in 1999 and has responsibility for all aspects of finance and accounting procedures within the practice, especially relating to adherence to the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.

Based in Bury St Edmunds, he is a member of the Executive Committee working with the partners to ensure the smooth running of the firm.

He is a committee member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Special Interest Group for Solicitors, is Vice Chairman of the Bury St Edmunds Chamber of Commerce, and is a parish councillor in his local village.
